Acro Educators
Following our spring skills training,
is the Acro Educators Training Program spearheaded by
Coach Blox
Calling coaches, community leaders, festival teachers, and aspiring acro teachers… we want to take a deep dive with you into the art of holding space for others to learn. This training is best suited for folks who already have some experience with teaching.
Progressive Partner Acrobatics
is a comprehensive
training program with a multitude of opportunities for both up and coming and seasoned acrobatic practitioners.
• Injury Prevention
• Mental + Emotional Health in Training Spaces
• Individualized Coaching
• Personal Responsibility
• Prioritizing the Learning Process over Achievement
• Nervous System Care through Somatic Movement
• Growing diversity and opportunity in our community
• Considering our impact and giving back to the broader community through work days and / or fundraising efforts to support the original and present day indigenous land stewards of the area
We know that upon entering acrobatic spaces, we also enter into a community with one another. With community care running concurrently with progressive physical training practices, it is our goal to infuse our training with a holistic mindset.

Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the land we we host a majority of our trainings on was and is historically home to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (ᏗᎧᎸᎦ ᎠᏂᏴᏫᏯ - di-ka-lv-ga A-ni-yv-wi-ya), the Principle People of the East. Their ancestors were forcibly removed from this land and culturally repressed.
We commit to continuing to learn about Cherokee history and culture, including the original names of local places. We will work to remain open to feedback about how we can show up as better allies to our Cherokee community. During programs we will support efforts toward food sovereignty by showing up physically with a group of acrobats to do land labor and/or we will raise funds and awareness about ongoing work to preserve language and culture.
We recognize the historical trauma inflicted upon the Cherokee people and the ongoing impact of systemic racism on Indigenous communities and people of the global majority. We aim to use our efforts to support and uplift the voices of the Cherokee people and to work towards racial justice and equality for all.
