Christine teaches a weekly Handstand Class

~ HANDSTANDS WITH MOONBEAM ~

on Zoom from 1-2:30 EDT. Join for anywhere.

This class began March 2020 right as covid was surging around the globe. This class has served as motivation to continue working toward handstand goals with some community support and accountability. Our crew has stuck with the class and it’s still going strong.

This is a mixed level, community focused class on Zoom.

⚘PREREQUISITE SKILLS

1 minute handstand at the wall or 30 second free standing.

⚘CLASS STRUCTURE / OVERVIEW

This is a 90 minute handstand class. The first half focuses on conditioning and the second half of the class focuses on balance, balance drills, wall drills, and press handstand drills.

This class runs 4 weeks on and 1 week off.

This is a sliding scale, "pay what you can class"

If you are keen to dive a bit deeper into your handstand practice in a supportive setting, considering joining for 3 days of analysis and embodiment in a small group. 

This event is capped at 10 students with the intention of offering a more personalized experience for attendees. This event is geared toward intermediate handstand students. Please review the prerequisites to assure you'll get the most from the weekend.

⚘PREREQUISITE SKILLS
10-30 second free standing hardstanding
actively working splits: middle, right, left, straddle pike
experience (not mastery) with kick up, tuck up, and straddle ups
60-90 second wall hold
experience changing shape in handstand

Friday ~ Opening Session: 4:00-7:00
Saturday ~
Session 1: 12-2 
Lunch: 2-3:30
Session 2: 3:30-5
Sunday ~
Session 1: 11:45-1:45 
Lunch: 1:45-3
Session 2: 3:00-4:30

*Please note we will NOT be on our hands the entire class. 
Each session will include warm up and pre-hab + cool down
